Registration for the Summer School in Scandinavian Manuscript Studies

Registration is currently open for the two-week summer course in Scandinavian Manuscript Studies, which will take place in Copenhagen 7-18 August 2015. The deadline for registration is 1 April 2017.

The course is organized by the Arnamagnæan Collection at the University of Copenhagen, the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies at the University of Iceland, and the National and University Library of Iceland. Teachers from both the University of Iceland and the University of Copenhagen will provide lectures, workshops, and presentations, and students will also have the chance to participate in an excursion.

This year the summer course is worth 7,5 ECTS and is divided into three modules in increasing level of knowledge and experience with manuscripts:

1. Reading and Working with Manuscripts
2. Theory and Practice of Scholarly Editing
3. Preparing an Edition

Students will be temporarily enrolled at the University of Copenhagen to ensure the transfer of credits. A tuition fee applies for students not currently enrolled at a Danish university:

EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens: DKK 1875 (EUR 250)
Non-EU/EEA/Swiss: DKK 9375 (EUR 1250)
